Notes for Ernest Hussey Poore/Ethel Mae Whitney

According the marriage certificate, the ceremony was performed by Rev. A. W. Dick Melton, minister of the First Methodist Church of Concord. Witnesses were: Mildred E. Northup, Arlene W. Stevens, and Hazel W. Lanzo.

Guests who attended as listed in their book were: Mrs. Poore's brother and wife, Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Woodward of Milford, Mr. & Mrs. Kermit R. Stevens (Arlene) and children Donald, Kathryn and Russell of Wellesley, Mass.; Dave Lango, Brenda Northup, Leon Northup, Mrs. Thomas McCormack, proprietor of the home, her daughtger and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pollard of East Concord, Phyllis M. Pollard, Mr. & Mrs. Alphonse J. Lanzo and children David, Joyce and Anthony of Concord; Archi Nay of Antrim, Russ Stevens, Hazel Lanzo, Kathryn Stevens, Joyce Lanzo, Mrs. Poore's sister, Mrs. Lena Hays of Baldwinville, Mass., Mildred E. Northup, and older brother, Eugene H. Woodward of Milford;

Mrs. Marcus Lee of Manchester, sister of Mr. Poore were unable to attend.

According to the paper, both were residents of the Crest Nursing Home in East Concord. The couple went on a short trip to Massachusetts following the ceremony.
