The bride wore a gown of peau de soie with lace and trimmed with pearl buttons down the front. She carried a cascade of white roses and ivy. Susan Masellis of Hillsboro was matron of honor. She wore a pink brocade gown with a matching bow in her hair. Mrs. Masellis made her gown and the bride's. She carried three long-stemmed red roses. Bridesmaids were Denise Chandler of Peterboro and Valerie Yeaton of Hillsboro. They wore gowns of blue and yellow brocade and both carried three long-stemmed roses. Joseph J. Messelis, Jr., of Hillsboro was best man. Ushering the guests were Kevin Spalding of Hillsboro, bother of the bride, and Melvin Mulkhey, Jr., of Loudon, cousin of the bridegroom. Mrs. Mulkhey, a 1971 graduate of Hillsboro-Deering High School, is employed at Grand Union Champagne in Hillsboro. Mulkhey is a graduate of Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook and the University of New Hampshire. He is employed by Grand Union Champagne in Concord. After a wedding trip to Bar Harbor, Maine and Boston, MA, the couple will live in Hillsboro.
